Solution:

The atomic mass of C is 12.

The atomic mass of Oxygen is 16 and the atomic mass of H is 1.

Thus differences in the molecular formula and molecular masses are as follows-

CH_3OH, C_2H_5OH

CH_3OH has one carbon atom and a mass of 12+4+16=32.

C_2H_5OH has two carbon atoms and a mass of 12×2+6+16=46.

C_3H_7OH, C_2H_5OH

C_3H_7OH has three carbon atoms and a mass of 12×3+8+16=60.

C_2H_5OH has two carbon atoms and a mass of 12×2+6+16=46.

C_3H_7OH, C_4H_9OH

C_3H_7OH has three carbon atoms and a mass of 12×3+8+16=60.

C_4H_9OH has three carbon atoms and a mass of 12×4+10+16=74.
