Solution :

⇒Given :

work done by force,W =80,000J

Force ,F= 800N

Angle between force and horizontal ,θ=30°

⇒To Find :

Displacement caused by the force

in horizontal direction.

Theory :

Work done by the by the force is measured by the product of magnitude of force and the displacement of the point of application in the direction of force.

{\purple{\boxed{\large{\bold{W=F.S}}}}}

Step by step explanation:

we have to find the displacement caused by the force in horizontal direction.

We know W = F.s

⇒W=F×S ×cosθ

Now put the given values

  \implies80000 = 800 \times s \times\frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}

 \implies \: s =  \frac{80000 \times2}{800 \sqrt{3}}

  \implies \: s =\dfrac{200}{\sqrt{3}}m

s=\dfrac{200\times\sqrt{3}}{3}

Therefore,

Displacement caused by the force

in horizontal direction is 66.6√3 m.
