Calculate the distance & displacement travelled by the body in 5 seconds from the velocity time graph.

Distance= area under graph = area of five parts under graph = 1/2×2×20+2×20+1×20+1/2×1×20+ 1/2×1×40

Distance=20+40+20+10+20=110m

Displacement = area above x axis −area under x axis =90−20=70m
