Calculate the distance and displacement for the minute hand of the

clock of length 14 cm in time interval from 11 am to 12.45 pm.​

The minute hand will cover two rounds from

5:20pm to 7:20pm.

Distance travelled by the tip of minute hand=

2×(Circumfrence of the circle whose radius is 14cm.)

=2×(2×pi×r)

=2×2×(22/7)×14 cm.

=4×22×2 cm.

=176 cm. , Answer.

Displacement = 0 ( initial position and final

position of the tip is same).
