I) When K1 is open and K2 is closed then NO current flows through the circuit.
ii) When both the keys are closed the equivalent resistance of the ckt becomes 4 ohm so current will be
I = V/R = 12/4 = 3 A
iii) When K1 is closed and K2 is open then the equivalent resistance of the ckt becomes 8 ohm so current will be
I = V/R = 12/8 = 1.5 A

iii) When K1 is closed and K2 is open then the equivalent resistance of the ckt becomes 8 ohm so current will be
