Answer:

Energy used by light bulbs in one day= 50w x 6 x 4 = 1.2 kwh

Energy used by ceiling fan in one day= 80w x 2 x 12= 1.92kwh

Energy used by the TV in one day=100W×7×1=0.7kwh

Energy used by washing machine in one day = 400w x 3 = 1.2 kwh

So, total energy used in one day= 1.2 + 1.92 + 0.7+ 1.2 = 5.02kwh

Total energy used in 30 days

= 5.02x 30 = 150.6kwh

Now, 1 kwh = 1 unit And, Cost per unit = 3.15 Therefore, the bill for the entire month = 150.6×3.15 = Rs. 474.39
