Explanation:

E = R × ( Z^2 / n^2)

( R = rydberg constant= -2.18 × 10^18

Z= atomic number....

n = number of shells....)

so, E = -2.18 ×10^18 ( 2^2 /2^2)

E = -2.18 × 10^18 Joules......

Answer:

Z= 2

n = 2

To find energy associated to 2nd orbit of He+ :-

E = -2.18 ×10^-18( Z^2/n^2)J/atom

E = -2.18 × 10^-18

To find radius :-

Rn = 0.529 × (n^2/Z)

Rn = 1.058 A°
