Calculate the energy consumed by 180 W electric iron in 30 minutes.​

• Power = 180 W = 0.18 KW

• Time = 30 min = 30/60 hr = 0.5 h

TO FIND :

• Energy consumed = ?

SOLUTION :

• We know that –

⇒ Energy = Power × Time

• Put the values –

⇒ Energy = (0.18)(0.5)

⇒ Energy = (0.18)(½)

⇒ Energy = (0.18)/2

⇒ Energy = 0.09 KWh

Hence , The value of consumed Energy is 0.09 KWh.
