\huge\underline\purple{\sf Answer:-}

Excited state mean "It is the lowest energy that can excite an electronic transfer"

Here

First excited state mean in 2nd orbit.

\large{\boxed{\sf E ={Z}^{2}×{\frac{-13.6}{{n}^{2}}}}}

Let's take an example of Helium (He)

Its Atomic Number (Z) = 2

and according to Question we have to Find energy level in first excited state so,

n = 2

On putting value :-

\large\implies{\sf {2}^{2}×{\frac{-13.6}{{2}^{2}}}}

\large\implies{\sf -13.6J}

\red{\boxed{\sf Energy\:in\:1st\:excited\:state\:is =-13.6J}}
