Given,
Frequency,V= 5×10^14 Hz = 5×10^14s^-1
Plank's constant,h= 6.636 x 10-34 J s-1
Now, we know energy of one photon is given by=>
E = h×v
=>E =
6.636 x 10^-34 Js-1 × 5×10^14 s^-1
=>E = 33.18 × 10^-20 joules.
Now,we also know that-->
One mole of photon has
=> 6.023× 10^23 no. of photons
And,
Energy of one mole of photon is given by->
No. of photons× energy of one photon
=> (6.023 x 10^23 x 33.18 x 10^-20 J)
=> 199.51x 10^3 J
or
=> 199.51 kJ.
Hence the energy of photon of radiation whose 'v' is 5×10^14 Hz will be 119.84 kJ..
