Energy of an electron in Hydrogen atom , in the state n (principal quantum number n).
         E = -13.6 / n²   eV
Energy required =  13.6 [1/3² - 1/4²] = 13.6 * 7/144 = 0.661 eV

Answer:

Explanation:13.6*5*5/3/3 -13.6*5*5/4*4

340/9-340/16=37.77-21.25=16.53ev
