ANSWER : equation is 7x + y = -24

X intercept is -24/7

Y intercept is -24

Step-by-step explanation:

eqn of line through two points  (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is

(y-y1) = [ (y2- y1) / ( x2 - x1) ] (x- x1)

(y-4)=[ (-3-4) /(-3-(-4)) ] (x-(-4))

(y-4) = [ (-7) / (1) ] (x+4)

y -4 = -7(x+4)

y - 4= -7x -28

7x + y + 28 - 4 = 0

7x + y + 24=0

7x + y = -24

to find X intercept of line make y = 0

7x+0=-24

7x = -24

x= -24/7

to find y intercept of line make x= 0

0+y= -24

y = -24
