Given :  two points are (1,6) and (5,0)

To find : the equation of the line

Solution:

two points are (1,6) and (5,0)

Slope  = ( 0 - 6) / ( 5 - 1)

= - 6 / 4

= - 3/2

Equation of line

y -  0  = (-3/2)(x - 5)

=>  2y  = -3x  + 15

=> 3x + 2y = 15

3x + 2y = 15  is the   equation of line

y = -3x/2 + 15/2
