 \frac{1}{rp}  =  \frac{1 + 1}{20}

 \frac{1}{rp}  =  \frac{2}{20}

 \frac{1}{rp }  =  \frac{1}{10}

rp = 10 \: ohm

the \: equivalent \: resistance  \\  = r1 + rp \\  = 10 + 10  \\  = 20 \: ohm
