20+8 II 10+10

=> (28X20)/(20+8+10+10)

= 560/48

= 70/6

= 35/3

= 11.66 ohm

2+15 II 30+40

=> (17X70)/(2+15+30+40)

= 1190/87

=13.67 ohm

In series connection,

13.67+11.66 = 24.33 ohms

HOPE IT HELPS YOU!!!

lavishaonly: how can I do that??
lavishaonly: answer is 22.5 ohm
aganc03: Dear this variation is because of no. Of no.s after decimal
aganc03: But the method is correct
aganc03: To do the question 1st of all name the other corners
aganc03: Then where I have used parallel sign so add a equation before them in which show that which connection is parallel to which connection
aganc03: Similarly before the statement ' in series connection' mention which 2 connection are in series
aganc03: Then solve the equations
aganc03: Hope you understood that
