in series R1 + R2 + R3 + R4 + R = 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 20 = 60 ohms
in parallel 1 / (1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/R4 + 1/R) = 1 / (1/10 + 1/10 + 1/10 + 1/10 + 1/20) = 1/(2/20 + 2/20 + 2/20 + 2/20 + 1/20) = 1/(9/20) = 20/9 = 2.2222 ohms
