calculate the force and pressure applied by stone whose mass is 10 kg on the ground with area in contact 15 cm square​

Pressure = Force per unit area = \frac{F}{A}

Force is nothing but weight of the stone = mg = 10 x 9.8 = 98N

A = 15 cm² = 1.5 x 10⁻³ m²

P = 98/(1.5 x 10⁻³) = 65.33 x 10³ Pa  ...................... 1 Pa = 1N/m²
