charge on alpha particle, q = 2 × 1.6 × 10^-19 C = 3.2 × 10^-19C

charge on electron, e = 1.6 × 10^-19C

seperation between them, r = 1\mum = 10^-6 m

from Coulomb's law,

electrostatic force between them, Fe = kqe/r²

= 9 × 10^9 × (3.2 × 10^-19) × (1.6 × 10^-19)/(10^-6)²

= 4.608 × 10^-16 N

again, mass of alpha particle , M = 4 × 1.67 × 10^-27 Kg = 6.68 × 10^-27 Kg

mass of electron, m = 9.1 × 10^-31Kg

from Newton's gravitational law,

gravitational force between them, Fg = GMm/r²

= (6.67 × 10^-11 × 6.68 × 10^-27 × 9.1 × 10^-31)/(10^-6)²

= 4.0545596 × 10^-55 N
