Answer:

Explanation:

Solution :-

Using,

F = Gm₁m₂/r²

we have, m₁ = 1000 kg

Mass of the earth,

m₂ = M = 6 × 10²⁴ kg

r = R = 6.4 × 10⁶ m

G = 6.67 × 10⁻¹¹ Nm²kg⁻²

F = 6.67 × 10⁻¹¹ × 1000 × 6 × 10²⁴/6.4 × 10⁶

F = 6.67 × 6/6.4²

F = 9.8 × 10³ N

Hence, the force of gravitation acting between a car and earth is 9.8 × 10³ N.

Additional Information :-

F = G × m₁ × m₂/r²

where F = force

m₁ m₂ = masses of two bodies

r = distance between the centres of the two bodies

G = gravitational constant
