Answer:

Mass of earth (m) = 6 × 10^24 kg

Mass of sun (M) = 2 × 10^30 kg

Distance (R) = 1.5 × 10^11 m

G = 6.67 × 10^-11

Force = GmM/R^2

= 6.67 × 10^-11 × 6 × 10^24 × 2 × 10^30 / (1.5 × 10^11)^2

= 3.52 × 10^22 Newtons

Given :

M_1 =mass of sun=2×{10}^{30}\:kg

M_2=mass of earth=6×{10}^{24}\:kg

R= Avg. distance between the Earth and the Sun =1.5×{10}^{11}\:m

G=6.7×{10}^{-11}\:N{m}^{2}/{kg}^{2}

According to universal law of gravitation,

\begin{gathered}F=\frac{G×M_1×M_2}{{r}^{2}}\\\\=\frac{6.7×{10}^{-11}×2×{10}^{30}×6×{10}^{24}}{{(1.5×{10}^{11})}^{2}}\\\\\\\underline{F=3.57×{10}^{22}\:N}\\\\\\\underline{\boxed{\sf{ F=3.57×{10}^{22}\:N}}} \end{gathered}
