1- Given,

Mass of toy car, m=250 g=0.250 kg

Velocity of car, v=5 m/s

Momentum, p=mv

 =0.250 x 5=1.25 kg-m/s

5- Inertia is a measure of mass. The inability of a body to change by itself its state of rest or state of uniform motion along a straight line is called inertia of the body.

Quantitatively, inertia of a body is measured by the mass of the body. heavier the body, greater is the force required to change its state and hence greater is its inertia. The reverse is also true.

The S.I. unit of mass is kg and inertia has no unit.
