Calculate the Force of Gravitation due to Earth on a Ball of Mass 1 Kilogram lying on the Ground.
(Clue :- Mass of the Earth = 6 \times 10^{24}\:Kg
Radius of the Earth = 6.4 \times 10^3 \:Km )

Answer:

Explanation:

The force fo gravitation is calculated by using the formula F=G×m1×m2r2

Gravitation constant G=6.7×10−11Nm2Kg2

Mass of earth m1=6×1024kg

Mass of ball m2=1kg

Distance between centre r=Radius of earth of earth and ball

=6.4×103km

6.4×103×1000m

6.4×106m

Now putting these values in the above formula we get F67.×10−11×6×1024×1(6.4×106)2

f=9.8 newtons
