Mass of object = 20kg

Initial velocity = zero

Final velocity = 3 m/s

Distance travelled = 3m

We have to find magnitude of required force.

★ In order to find force first we need to find acceleration of object.

Third equation of kinematics is given by

→ v² - u² = 2as

→ 3² - 0² = 2a(3)

→ 9 = 6a

→ a = 9/6

a = 1.5 m/s²

★ As per newton's second law of motion, force is measured as the product of mass and acceleration.

→ F = m a

→ F = 20 × 1.5

F = 30 N
