Answer: 4500N

Step 1: Acceleration calculation

As per Newton's second law  

∑F=ma  

∴F=ma  

a= acceleration of car

Since acceleration is constant, therefore applying equation of motion

v=u+at

v=30 m/s  ; u=0  

∴ 30=0+a(10)  

    a=3 m/s

Step 2: Force calculation  

                  F=ma  =1500×3  

                  F=4500 N  

Hence, the force required to impart to a car to achieve 30 m/s in 10s is 4500 N
