Given :

  • Mass of a body, m = 5 kg
  • Acceleration, a = 6.5 m/s²

To find :

  • Force, F

According to the question,

Force = Mass × Acceleration

Or,

➞ F = ma

➞ F = 5 × 6.5

➞ F = 32.5 N

So,the force is 32.5 Newton.

Acceleration :-

Acceleration can be defined as the rate of change of velocity with time is known as acceleration.

  • SI unit of acceleration is m/s².

Force :-

Pull or push of an object is known as force.

  • SI unit of force is Newton (N).

Answer:

Given :-

  • Acceleration = 6.5 m/s²
  • Mass = 5 kg

To Find :-

Force required

Solution :-

As we know that force required is defined as the product of mass and acceleration.

F = MA

Here,

F = Force

M = Mass

A = Acceleration

Putting value

F = 5 × 6.5

F = 32 N

Hence

Force applied = 32 N.
