calculate the force required to produce an acceleration of a)6m/s b)9m/s in a body of mass 4kg.

samrat00725100: 6m/s & 9m/s are mot acceleration....
samrat00725100: I am answering as taking 6m/s as 6m/s^2 & 9m/s as taking 9m/s^2

We know...
F = ma
Therefore mass & acceleration are given

A)  a = 6m s^{-2} m = 4 kg

Therefore... F = (6 * 4) N
                 F = 24N
Answer F = 24N
B) a = 9m s^{-2} & [tex]m = 4kg [/tex]

Therefore... F = (9 * 4) N
                 F = 36 N
Answer F = 36N

Answer:

We know...

F = ma

Therefore mass & acceleration are given

A) a = 6m s^{-2}a=6ms

−2

& m = 4 kgm=4kg

Therefore... F = (6 * 4) NF=(6∗4)N

F = 24NF=24N

Answer F = 24N

B) a = 9m s^{-2}a=9ms

−2

& m = 4kgm=4kg

Therefore... F = (9 * 4) NF=(9∗4)N

F = 36 NF=36N

Answer F = 36N
