Force of 5N

{\huge{\boxed{\mathcal{\red{Explanation}}}}}

Moment of force is a force that can cause a body to move on its own axis. It is also called torque.

Act, It is given that :-

Moment of force = 40nm

Length of pivot = 8m.

Force applied = F =?

Now for any body moment of force is product of force applied and legth of tool or object.

moment \: of \: force \:  = length \times force \: applied

Thus in this case after inputting the values wrong can say :-

40nm = f \times 8m

After shifting 8m to R.H.S We get :

 \frac{40}{8}  = f

f = 5newton

Thus the force which will produce moment of force equal to 40nm is 5N.
