Formula unit mass of  Cu(NO_3)_2 .

PROCEDURE:-

We know,

Unified mass (u) of :-

  • Cu [Copper - Cyprus] = 63.5 u
  • N [Nitrogen] = 14 u
  • O [Oxygen] = 16 u

Mass:-

63.5 u + [14 u + 16 u × 3] × 2

= 63.5 u + (14 u + 48 u)2

= 63.5 u + (62 u)2

= 63.5 u + 124 u

= 187.5 u (Solution)
