Calculate the freezing point of an aqueous solution containing 10.50 g of MgBr2 in 200 g of water.

dTf = kf*m

dTf = 0.512*(10.50/184)1000/200=0.146’C

dTf =freezing pt. of  pure water- Freezing pt. of solution

0.146=0’C-Freezing pt. of solution

Freezing pt. of solution(containing MgBr2)=-0.146’C
