Given:

An air column is in a tube of length 25 cm closed at one end if the speed of sound in air is 350 m/s.

To find:

Fundamental frequency ?

Calculation:

For \rm fun dam ental frequency, we can say:

 \dfrac{ \lambda}{4}  = l

 \implies \lambda = 4l

 \implies \lambda = 4 \times 25

 \implies \lambda = 100 \: cm

 \implies \lambda = 1 \: m

Now, frequency will be :

 f  =  \dfrac{v}{ \lambda}

 \implies \: f =  \dfrac{350}{1}

 \implies \: f =  350 \: hz

So, \rm fun dam ental frequency is 350 Hz.

Given:-

An air column is in a tube of length 25 cm closed at one end if the speed of sound in air is 350 m/s.

To Find:-

Fundamental frequency ?

Calculation:-

For fundamental frequency, we can say:

λ/4= l

λ=4I

λ=4×25

λ=100cm

λ=1 m

Now, frequency will be :

f=v/λ

350/1

350 hz

So fundamental frequency is 350 hz.

Hope it helps you
