308 cm3 is 308 ml converting into moles 308/22400=0.0137 now again
0.979/molecular mass =0.0137 = molecular mass =0.979/0.0137=71

Gram molecular mass can be obtained by dividing the mass by number of moles:
308 cc = 0.308 L
Number of moles = 0.308 L * 1 mol / 22.4 L
= 0.013 moles
Therefore Molecular weight:
= 0.979 / 0.013
= 75 g/mol
