Given data:

Mass of man = M = 150 Kg

Acceleration due to gravity = g = 10ms–²

Concept:

Please note carefully that the gravitational force (F) on any body having mass (M) is given by,

F = Mg

where g = acceleration due to gravity

Please note further that the SI unit of Force is Newton and it's represented by 'N'.

Solution:

As we discussed that F = Mg

From given data, M = 150 Kg ; g = 10ms–²

=> F = ( 150 × 10 ) N

=> F = 1500 N
