Explanation:

The force of attraction between two masses m1 and m2 , kept apart from each other at a distance of r is, F=(G×m1×m2)/r²

Here, m1 = m2 =1kg and r=1m

Hence, F=G×1×1/1²

=G=6.7×10-¹¹N

Given:

Mass of two objects m1 and m2 = 1 kg

distance = r = 1m

To Find:

Gravitational force

Solution:

From the gravitational force formulae,

f =  \frac{ m1 \times m2}{ {r}^{2} }  \times gravitational \: constant

Gravitational constant is G =6.67 × 10-¹¹ Nm²/kg²

f is the gravitational force

m1 is mass of one object

m2 is mass of second object

r is the distance between them.

Now, putting all the values from our question in the above equation,

we get,

f =  \frac{6.67 \times  {10}^{ - 11 \times 1 \times 1} }{ {1}^{2} }

Therfore the force is 6.67×10-11 N

Hence, the force of attraction between two bodies of 1 kg separated by 1m is 6.67×10-11 N
