Calculate the heat capacity of copper vessel of mass 150 g , if the specific heat capacity of copper is 410 J kg-1 K-1

Where Q is heat capacity
m is mass
c is specific heat capacity

Now convert 150g into kg = 150 × (10)-3

So

Q = 150 × (10)-3 × 410
Q = 61.5 J / kg

Heat capacity = Specific heat capacity × Mass
= 410 J / (kg K) × 150 g × 10⁻³ kg/g
= 61.5 J / K

∴ Heat capacity of copper vessel is 61.5 J / K
