Calculate the heat energy decipated when an electric bulb of power 100 watt is used for 100 Seconds.

Answer should be in kilo joules.

Heat energy = Power × Time

Heat energy = 100×100

= 10000 Joule

By Applying formula for heat energy:

H=Pt , where H refers to heat, P refers to power and t refers to time.

Now substituting given values:

H=10000 joules

By dividing it by 1000 we will get answer in kilo joules.

So,

H=10000/1000 kilo Joules

H=10 kilo joules

So the required value of heat is 10 kilo joules
