Given, mass of water m = 500grams

                                        = 500/1000

                                       = 0.5kg

Specific heat capacity of water,c  = 4.18 * 10^3 J/Kg

Initial temperature = 5 degree

Final temperature = 95 degree

So,rise in temperature = 95 - 5

                                      =  90

We know that Q = m * C * T

                            = 0.5 * 4.18 * 10^3 * 90

                            = 188100 J

Hope this helps!
