calculate the heat supplied to raise the temperature of 2 kg of water from 25 degree Celsius to its boiling point .The Cs of water is 4.184 joule per Kelvin gram. How long will a 2 kilowatt heater take to supply this energy? ​

∆temp=100-25=75°C

c=4184 J kg^-1 °C^-1

Q=mc∆t

= 2* 75 *4184

=627600J

Power of the heater=2000W =2000 Js^-1

P=Q/t(time)

t=Q/P

=313.80s

=5.23minutes(ans)
