Calculate the height of an object of mass 2 kg, if it potential energy is increased by 10J at the highest point. ​

ANSWER

Given,

mass of the object= 2kg

g= 10m/s^2

At highest point, the potential energy = mgh = 10J

Thus,

mgh= 10J

=> 2×10×h = 10J

 =  > h =  \frac{10j}{2 \times 10}

= 0.5m
