{\red{\underline{\underline{\bold{Given:-}}}}}

  • Area of triangle = 80 cm²
  • Base of triangle = 20cm

{\blue{\underline{\underline{\bold{To\:Find:-}}}}}

  • Height of the triangle

{\green{\underline{\underline{\bold{Solution:-}}}}}

Area = 80 cm², Base = 20cm

Area of triangle =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\  \\  \implies80 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 20 \times h \\  \\  \implies \: h =  \frac{80 \times 2}{20}  \\  \\  \implies \: h \:  =  \frac{160}{20}  = 80cm

______________

Formula used here:-

  • Area of triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

  • Height of triangle =  \frac{Area \times 2}{base}

_______________

{\pink{\underline{\underline{\bold{Additional\:Information:-}}}}}

If area and height of a triangle are given the formula to find base

  •  \frac{Area\times 2}{height}

The perimeter of triangle = sum of all its sides
