ɪᴍᴘᴜʟsᴇ = ∆ᴘ ɪ.ᴇ. ᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇ ɪɴ ᴍᴏᴍᴇɴᴛᴜᴍ

So amount of impulse required  

=final momentum - initial momentum

=1500 × 0 - 1500kg × 25m/s

=0 - 37500

= –37500Ns

Impulse = ∆p I.e. change in momentum

So amount of impulse required 
=final momentum - initial momentum
=1500 × 0 - 1500kg × 25m/s
=0 - 37500
= –37500Ns
