Given that,  M = 2 kgheight h = 2 m When the block is at ground, its initial potential energy is zero. When the block is lifted upto 2 m height potential energy increases.
Increase in P.E
= mgh

= 2 x 2 x 9.8

= 39.2 J

Answer:

Given,

m=2kg

h=2m

g=10m/s²

Potential energy =mgh

=(2kg)(10m/s²)(2m)

=40J
