  • Index of refraction of a liquid from the following into glass is 1.437.
  • We can solve this question by using the concept of Real depth and apparent depth.

According to the given data-

Real depth = 12.895- 11.324 = 1.571

Apparent depth = 12.895 - 11.802 = 1.093

And we know that refractive index is the ratio of real depth to apparent depth. So,

RI = 1.571/1.093 = 1.437
