Given:-

  • Mass (m) = 50 kg
  • Velocity (v) = 5m/s

To Find:-

  • Kinetic Energy.

Solution:-

Formula used:-

→ KE = 1/2mv²

Where,

  • KE is the Kinetic Energy.
  • m is the mass.
  • v is the speed/velocity.

According to the question,

→ KE = 1/2 × 50 × 5²

→ KE = 1/2×50 × 25

→ KE = 25×25

KE = 625 J

Hence,

  • the kinetic energy of the body is 625 Joules.

Given,

Mass m=50kg

Velocity=50cms

−1

1cm=0.01m

So, velocity=50×0.01ms

−1

v=0.5ms

We know,

Kinetic energy =

Substituting value of m and v in the equation:

Kinetic energy =
