calculate the kinetic energy of a car of mass 750 kg moving with a velocity of 54 km per hour.Find the new kinetic energy of the car if a passenger of mass 50 kg sits in the car.

KE = mv^2/2

54kmph = 15m/s

m = 750 kg

v = 15 m/s

KE = mv^2/2

KE = 750 x 225/2 = 84375 J

now when a 50 kg man is sitting, total mass will be 800kg

KE = 800 x 225/2  =  90000 J
