Answer :-

★ The amount of kinetic energy produced by the arrow in the due process is 6.75 J .

Explanation :-

Given :-

• m = 0.9 kg

• v = 15 m/s

To Find :-

• K.E. [Kinetic energy]

Rationale :-

• We know that,

Kinetic energy is directly proportional to the mass of the object and to the square of its velocity

⇒K.E. = 1/2 mv²

[ Note :- If the mass has units of kilograms and the velocity of meters per second, the kinetic energy has units of kilograms-meters squared per second squared. ]

Now,

On plugging in the respective values in the above formula, we acquire,

K.E. = 1/2 × 0.9kg × 15m/s

⇒K.E. = 1/2 × 9/10 × 15

⇒K.E. = 1/2 × 9/2 × 3

⇒K.E. = 27/4

K.E. = 6.75 J

∴ The amount of kinetic energy produced is 6.75 J .
