Ideal gas equation: PV = nRT

Solving for molar volume V/n = RT/P

Answer: The Ideal Gas Law says molar volume is a function of temperature and pressure and defines the relationship.

In order to understand this question better we need to understand unity volume first of all. Unity volume is we have to take the volume of the gas as one volume altogether. Which on other words means one mole.

In this situation the data is insufficient as there is no density of a gas or name of the gas and not even the molar mass of the gas.

For finding kinetic energy , we have require to find out RMS velocity at first.

RMS velocity, v= √{3P/ρ} , here P is the pressure and ρ is the density of gas.

At NTP{ Normal temperature and pressure }

P = 1.013 × 10⁵ N/m² ,

Then, RMS velocity , v = √{3 × 1.013 × 10⁵/ρ}

Now, kinetic energy of gas , KE = 1/2M{RMS velocity }² , here M is molar mass

If we put M and ρ values and find out the Kinetic energy of gas.
