Answer:

8×18

Step-by-step explanation:

here we assume three angles:x,8x,x

sum of all angles is 180

so

10x=180

largest angle is 8x=8×18.

The largest angle in the triangle is 144°

Step-by-step explanation:

let the angles be  a,b , c

we know that sum of the angles of a triangle is 180°

therefore ,

a+b+c = 180

here a= 8b

a= 8c

therefore ,

8b +b +c = 180

9b +c = 180..(1)

8c +b +c =180

9c +b = 180...(2)

solving equation 1 and 2  we get

9b +c=180

9b +81c = 1620

80c = 1440

c = 18

sine , a= 8c = 8× 18 = 144°

a = 8b

144 = 8 ×b

therefore b = 18

hence , the angles a, b ,c are 144°,18°,18°

so , The largest angle in the triangle is 144°
