Calculate the length of a chord which is at a distance 12 cm from the centre of a circle
of radius 13 cm​

Answer:

Perpendicular dream from centre to chord bisects the chord. So by Pythagoras theorem,H=radius of circle= 13cm. P=perpendicular distance=12,and 'l' be the length of half chord( bisects the chord).. l=√(169–144)=5.
