ABC is a right triangle as Tangent and radius are perpendicular

Therefore, by Pythagoras theorem :-

AC² = AB² - BC²

AC² = 5² - 13²

AC² = 25 - 169

AC = √144

AC = 12cm

Length of Tangent is 12cm.
