Calculate the length of the diagonal of a rectangular whose length is 15 cm and width is 8 cm.

Given :-

• Length of rectangle = 15cm
• Breadth of rectangle = 8 cm

To find : Length of diagonal

Let Length of diagonal be 'x'.

⇢(x)² = (length)² + (breadth)²

⇢ x = √ (length)² + (breadth)²

• Put the values of length and breadth.

⇢x = √(15)² + (8)²

⇢x = √ 225 + 64

⇢ x = √289

⇢ x = 17cm

So length of diagonal is 17 cm
